Terms of Service
These terms govern use of stalvon.info, an editorial resource operated by Stalvon Health Ltd. By browsing the site, readers agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. These terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer, each of which forms part of the overall basis on which the site is made available to readers.
1. Editorial scope
Articles are general educational material about gut health, food and lifestyle. They are not personalised guidance and should not be treated as a substitute for speaking with a qualified professional. The site currently publishes six long-form guides alongside supporting pages such as this one, and the scope of "content" under these terms includes any future guide, update or correction added to that collection. Where a new page type is introduced to the site in the future, such as a resource download or event listing, it will be treated as falling within the same editorial scope described here unless we state otherwise at the time it is published.
a) Long-form guides covering topics such as fibre, fermented foods and the gut microbiome.
b) Supporting pages, including the homepage, about page and contact page.
c) Any newsletter content sent to subscribers who have opted in.
2. Accuracy
We work to keep material clear and current, but research and pages can change. Stalvon does not promise that every statement is complete, current or suitable for every circumstance. Where we become aware that a published statement no longer reflects current understanding, we aim to correct or update the relevant article and, where the change is significant, to note the date of that update on the page.
3. Permitted use
Readers may view, print or share reasonable excerpts for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. Republishing a complete page requires written permission. A reasonable excerpt would, for example, be a short quotation with a link back to the original article; copying an entire guide onto another website would not fall within this permission.
a) Personal reading, printing or saving of articles for individual, non-commercial use.
b) Sharing a link to an article on social media or by email.
c) Quoting a short excerpt with clear attribution to Stalvon and a link to the source page.
4. Links
External links are provided for context. Stalvon does not control external content, availability or privacy practices. Including a link to an external source, such as a public health body or a research summary, is not an endorsement of every statement made on that external site, and readers should apply their own judgement when following any link away from stalvon.info.
5. Intellectual property
Text, design and original branding belong to Stalvon Health Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership. This includes the Stalvon name and wordmark, the layout and visual design of the site, and the original text of each article, all of which remain the property of Stalvon Health Ltd even where excerpts are shared under section 3.
6. User messages
Messages should be lawful, accurate and free from material that infringes another person's rights. We may remove abusive or irrelevant correspondence. This applies to messages sent through the contact form and to any reply-to correspondence following a newsletter email; we ask that readers avoid including sensitive personal or health information in these messages, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability
We may update, suspend or reorganise parts of the site. We will try to preserve useful access but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. For example, an article's web address may change if the site structure is reorganised, in which case we aim to redirect the old address where practical rather than removing access to the content entirely.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Stalvon is not responsible for loss arising from reliance on general editorial material or external services. Nothing limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited. This reflects the editorial, non-advisory nature of the site described in our Disclaimer, and does not affect any statutory rights a reader may have that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales. In particular, nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, with disputes handled by the courts of the relevant jurisdiction. Before pursuing formal proceedings, we encourage readers to contact us first using the details in section 11 so that a concern can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved informally.
10. Changes
Published 9 September 2026. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms. We may revise these terms to reflect changes in the site, applicable law or our editorial practices, and the latest publication date will appear here. A short change log is kept below so returning readers can see what has changed since first publication.

Where a disagreement cannot be resolved informally through this contact route, either party retains the right to bring the matter before the courts of England and Wales as described in section 9, though we would encourage exhausting direct correspondence first, as most concerns about accuracy or tone can be addressed through a correction or clarification.
12. Severability and entire agreement
If any individual provision of these terms is found by a competent court to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply in full, and the unenforceable provision will be treated as replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects its original intent. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer referenced throughout this page, represent the entire understanding between Stalvon Health Ltd and a reader regarding use of the website, and supersede any earlier version of these documents published on stalvon.info.
13. Assignment
Stalvon Health Ltd may transfer or assign its rights and obligations under these terms, for example as part of a wider transfer of the business, without needing a reader's separate consent, provided that any such transfer does not reduce the protections set out in this page or in our Privacy Policy. A reader may not transfer or assign any right arising under these terms without our prior written agreement, since the terms are personal to the individual using the site.
14. Force majeure
Stalvon will not be treated as being in breach of these terms where a failure to provide access to the site, or a delay in responding to correspondence, arises from circumstances reasonably beyond our control, such as a failure of hosting infrastructure operated by a third-party supplier, a significant internet service disruption, or other events of a similarly exceptional nature. In such circumstances, we will take reasonable steps to restore normal service and to resume responding to reader correspondence within a reasonable period once the underlying cause has been resolved. This section does not affect a reader's right to rely on section 7 regarding the general availability of the site, and it is not intended to be used to justify prolonged or repeated unavailability that could reasonably have been prevented through ordinary care.
